1. Scope
These Submission Terms apply to all text, photos, and other material (“Submissions”) submitted to Pleasant Stay via forms, email, or other means.
By submitting material, you agree to these terms.
2. Nature of submissions
Submissions are treated as editorial source material, not as automatically published articles.
Pleasant Stay decides independently:
- whether a submission is published
- how it is edited or shortened
- whether it contributes to an existing article
- or whether it is not published at all
Submission does not guarantee publication.
3. Editorial control
Pleasant Stay reserves full editorial discretion.
This includes the right to:
- edit for clarity, length, tone, and structure
- combine submissions with other material
- update or revise published content over time
- remove or replace content if conditions change
Editorial decisions are final.
4. Photo rights and permissions
If you submit photos, you confirm that:
- you took the photos yourself, and
- you own the necessary rights, and
- no third-party rights are violated
By submitting photos, you grant Pleasant Stay a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free right to publish, edit, crop, and display the photos for editorial purposes.
Photos are not used for advertising without additional consent.
5. Affiliation and disclosure
You must disclose if:
- you are affiliated with the business described, or
- you received compensation, discounts, or benefits
Undisclosed affiliations may result in rejection or removal of content.
6. No compensation
Pleasant Stay does not pay for submissions.
Submitting material does not create any entitlement to compensation.
7. Attribution
If content is published, Pleasant Stay may credit contributors by name, initials, or anonymously, at its discretion.
There is no obligation to attribute.
8. Removal of content
Pleasant Stay may remove or revise published content at any time if:
- information becomes outdated or inaccurate
- editorial standards change
- legal concerns arise
Contributors may request removal of their personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Liability
You are responsible for ensuring that your submission does not infringe third-party rights.
Pleasant Stay assumes no liability for submitted material that is not published.
10. Governing law
These Submission Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
